ABOUT
Mehgan Janel is a Chicago based artist and photographer with a foundation in fine art and filmmaking, having studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, and she is actively returning to the exhibition circuit.
Through Moss Covered Labyrinth, she crafts surrealist artwork inspired by folklore, nature, and the enchantment of forgotten memories. Unveiling the beauty in what is often hidden, overlooked, or unseen. Creating illustrations and photographs that open doorways to forgotten stories.
Her work invites reflection, sparks wonder, and breathes life into the intricate details of our world. This is a space for those who seek wonder, forgotten paths, and dwell in the spaces between.
